A reliable and high-quality set of pods designed to enhance stability and buoyancy for your boat. Allows faster planning and shallower draft by lifting the stern of your boat. Designed for boats with a bottom transom width of at least 48" and a deadrise angle of 14-16 degrees. The bottom of the pods measures 14". When measuring your transom to determine pod size, make sure that the pods will not interfere when turning your motor. The pods include a waterproof 6" round hatch for accessing bolts and for extra storage. These pods will add approximately 145 LBS of flotation to the stern of your boat. All pods are made of 0.100" 5052 marine grade aluminum to resist corrosion. A minimum of 4 bolts with fender washers for each pod are recommeded for bolting the pods to your transom. All of our pods are made in the USA at our shop.
